Red footage in Audition

What is the best way to import RED Camera footage into Audition?  I only want to work with the audio and I am not an experienced editor!  I'd like to skip Premiere and just work with the audio from the Red footage in Audition. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    You need to open RED files in Premiere first - Audition will not deal with these as standalones.
