removing a repeated sound

I've got a recording where there's a repeated background ticking noise.. which is happening irregularly, but constantly.

Is there a way to target this noise and remove it from the whole recording at once ?

Same as with noise reduction.

Otherwise the only option that comes to my mind is going trough the whole recording with the healing brush in the frequency view and remove it manually. Which will probably take hours though...
