Restore to previous version?

I recently updated to the latest version of adobe and I absolutely hate it. None of my compressors are working properly, they all give this grainy distorted tone whenever i activate them. I'm not having this issue during the recording process or any other plugins, it only happens when I use the compressors. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Or restore audition to the previous version?

I am not seeing the previous version of Adobe Audition. 2017 is what I started with and is absolutely horrible - slowing down my system and taking 4 minutes to launch. Ridiculous. How do I import Audition CC 2015 into the Cloud so I can use it? I have not been able to figure out how to go to a previous version that is not showing up in Creative Cloud. Please help. Thanks!

Are these Audition's built in compressors or third part VSTs? This isn't a general problem with the latest version of Audition that anyone else has noticed so far. Which version were you using previously?

Yes you can revert. If you open the Adobe Creative Cloud app and click on Apps you should see Previous Versions under your installed ones. Click on it to open the drop down menu and click on the one that you want to re-install.

I can't better ryclark's instructions to revert to a previous version.  However, may I ask that you provide details of your system (computer type, operating system, etc.) along with details of the compressors you're trying to use?  This will allow the developers at Adobe to look into the issues you're having.
