Restoring Older version of Audition

Question

So I have an older computer. I was having some recent problems saving audio to mp2 format, so I decided that I was just going to uninstall the program and reinstall. Problem is, my computer is old and none of the Creative Cloud apps are now compatible. So I cannot restore my version of Audition (I don't remember what version it actually was). I am running Windows 8 after all. Lol. I know I need a new computer, but everything was working fine until recently. Now I can't use the one program I use on a daily basis. ugh. Suggestions?

I'm very sorry, but there's nothing you can do about this now. All the activation servers for earlier versions were switched off many years ago. And on top of that, the only versions available are 64-bit ones, so there's very little chance of getting anything to work on an earlier machine anyway. If you don't, or can't, spend a lot of money you may need to look at something like Audacity, which you probably will be able to get to work.
