Rocksmith usb guitar adapter working in Audition CC?

Hi there.

I have just rescued a Rocksmith usb guitar adapter from the original xbox game and I'm trying to use it to record in Audition CC (version 13.0.2.35). Is it possible? 

Audio control panel in system preferences shows it properly and it seems to receive signal. But no response in Audition, where it also shows up.  No signal in audition track.

Using Macbook pro 13" with OS catalina 10.15.3

Am I missing something?

Any help?
