Sample rate...

couldnt find an answer in here...so can anyone tell me why whenever i restart my computer audition resets my sample rate from 48000 back to 44100?

    What driver are you using for the Presonus? If there is one available, you need to be using the ASIO driver for it. If you don't, then Windows can reset anything it likes. There's nothing else at all in Audition that would do this.

    im using the asio driver...what else might be causing this?

    Almost certainly because that's the default rate your sound device is set to. Try putting a check in the Audio Hardware Preference box that says 'Attempt to force hardware to document sample rate' box - that's supposed to fix this issue.

    my presonus is always set to 48000, that never changes...so its something in audition...i wldnt need to do the attempt to force thing because the hardware is already set to 48000. it just keeps reseting when my computer is restarted. what else could cause this?
