SAMPLE RATE!!! AAUUGGGHHHHHH!!!

Question

I am using Audition to do audiobooks, which require 44100hz sample rate. However, some of my files are playing back deeper and have to change the sample rate to 48000 to sound normal.

Unfortunately, Audible will NOT accept 48000, only 44.100

Advice???

This is what will happen if you record a file at 48k and then try to insert it into a 44.1k session. Fortunately the solution is simple, and you'll lose no quality. Open the file in Waveform view and go to Edit>Convert Sample Type. Leave everything as it is, except the Sample rate, which you alter to 44.1k. Go Okay, and then resave the file. Now if you put it into a 44.1k session it will sound fine.
