Question

Save As Settings ALWAYS MP3 at 24000 Crappy Hz!

Every time I open Audition, I have to re-configure this crappy setting to something that is actually a fair quality output. I have looked at the various articles here on this topic, and read all of Mr. SteveG's annoyingly rude responses---that nothing can be done to set Save defaults. Yes, there CAN be. The question, is WILL there EVER be?

Sure, the user may create a custom setting in this area to use, WHILE THE APP IS OPEN. But upon closing then reopening the next work day, sur-frickin-prise, there's that lovely MP3 at 24000 stupid hertz setting ready to screw up my audio again!! I only have to choose the custom setting again, says Mr. SteveG. Dude? I may as well recreate the stupid custom setting again while I'm at it.

I have a million steps to deal with in my work already. Why do I need this one??

PLEASE create a fix to allow one to save a default Save output setting--THAT ACTUALLY REMAINS AFTER THE APP IS CLOSED AND REOPENED. It's possible. But you probably won't because I sound rude, right? Ohhhhh, you're feelings are hurt?? How I actually sound is 1000% hella-frustated and tired of stupid crap that does not have to be, if only someone would care enough to make it right. I do when someone finds some crap in my work. It's a matter of PPP for me. Perso-professional pride compells me to see my work 100% free of dumassity.

People have been asking for years for this feature added to Audition. But I guess they were all rude, too.

This is a good place to rant ... feel free! Stay ... reasonably ... polite, but have at it.

However, within the Adobesphere, this ain't the place to ask for changes. Well, to alert other users to what you want to change, yea, but not the teams. And most importantly, Adobe is built on metrics. And the Marketing & Experience people that rule all Adobe stuff, run totally by ... metrics. The only way we users can directly influence the metrics is by posting in the right place ... and getting others to 'upvote' your request.

That's their Audition UserVoice site ... so go over there, and search ... there's probably other posts requesting this. If so, upvote, and if not, create one.

Either way, come back here and post a link in this thread. And every other bit of social media you post to.

I'll be happy to vote on it ...
