Saved .sesx no files

Hi Support community,

Apologies if this has already been solved, I was unable to find any posts like this.
So I have several .sesx files that I saved when I was doing some editing, and when I open any of them there is no content. I dug a little deeper and saw that in the code for the .sesx file itself the <files/> section is blank, and it consists of only a <files/> (there are 600 lines of other code though). Did I screw up when saving the file? I'm at a loss of what possibly could have happened, and I have a hunch that all of my multitracks are unusable now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All your files should be saved into a sub folder call [session name]_Recorded and while the <files/> section of the sesx is blank it is 'possible' to rebuild it - not easy but possible.

Email me the sesx file (info@aatranslator.com.au) and the list of those filenames so I can ascertain just how hard/time consuming it will be to reconstruct the session.

When you try to open one of these sesx files, do you get placeholders? These are blank highlighted sections where a file should be, and they require the media to be relinked. If you do, then this is what I would expect to find if you'd saved the files, closed them and then saved and closed the session. An ideal session save is one in which the audio files for the session, and the sesx file are all in the same folder.
