Sequencers and Audition

Many of us wish Audition had a built-in sequencer. Many would just be happy with something like Rewire, so we can work Audition in tandem with an external sequencer. So many wishes. 

I use Studio One as a sequencer, mix down stems, import them to Audition, then manipulate and mix in there. Everytime I make a change or addition to the sequence, I repeat the process over and over. It's tedious and terrible. But it's all I've got if I want to use Audition and a sequencer for writing music.

What do you all do? What's your work around? There's got to be a better way!
