Question

simple use of audition

With some pc's and on Windows 10, when I play a file on audition old versions, the playing stops when I go with the mouse out of the audition window (e.g. for working on other pc applications). This doesn't happen within Windows7. Is there a menu choice for avoiding that problem?

There used to be a menu option in previous versions that addressed this, but it's not supposed to be necessary now. I've just tried this using the current release on Windows 10 and if you click onto another window whilst Audition's playing it continues fine. To stop it you have to click Audition back to being the active window - other than that it continues fine.

Try looking at the options available in the audio hardware tab in Preferences - if I recall, that's where the option used to be.
