Skip Selection Pre-roll Offset

I love using the skip select feature in Audition CC but, I would like to be able to adjust the offset to any time I want. I find it starts with too little pre-roll to get an idea of either the beat of the music or dialouge and the same after the jump. Is this an adjustment somewhere or not available?

Ah, this is subtle and most people miss it!

The first time you make a 'skip' selection, the cursor defaults to 3 seconds before the bit you want to skip.  But if, before you hit the 'play' button, you drag the selection back to where you'd like it to start then certainly for the rest of your session, the preroll will start from where you dragged it to. The time is symmetrical, so the postroll will be as long as the preroll. Not ideal perhaps, but a reasonable compromise.
