Skype Echo from Callnote recordings!

Hi -

I'm literally trying to record my first ever Podcast - I have two questions

1) Ive used Skype to conduct the interview and recorded in Callnote - when played back it sounds OK

Problem

When I import into Audition it sounds awful and full of echo

Question

Why does it do this - what do I do to fix?

2) When doing an interview for a podcast - there will be two 'talking tracks'  me and the interviewee and the interview will be conducted through Skype. 

Question:

Can my side of the interview be recorded direct by Audion,  or is it both sides though Skype/Callnote?
