Sluggish Levels Display

For some reason, after running an audio track for a few seconds, having worked fine initially, my levels meters start running really sluggishly. If I stop the track and start again, they run fine for a few seconds, then the slowdown starts again.

Anyone know how to rectify this?

We will need to know a lot more info about the system that you are running Audition on, which version, what operating system and audio interface?

Oh, sure. Its the 2017.0.1 release, build number 10.0.1.8. I use a Mac so its iOS and my audio is running through a Yeti mic with headphones plugged in
