Sound issues when playing back recordings

Hi everyone,

I am only getting sound out of one speaker from my laptop when playing back recordings on Audition. I have a MacBook pro 13 and I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen as my audio interface. All the permissions, sound, hardware choices are set up properly for input and output on both the laptop and Audition. It records fine but whether I use headphones or the speakers as output I only get sound out of the left one. Both work fine for sound when I play videos from YouTube, only the recordings. Any help is appreciated!!!

Hmm... if it was really all set up fine, it would work! I think that you are going to have to give us a lot more information about the way you have Audition set up before we can figure out what's happening here. Multitrack or Waveform view? Has it ever worked properly? Screen grabs of your hardware settings would be good too. Beyond that it rather depends upon what you say and what we can see...
