I am recording this morning in the same way as I do every day and suddenly this happens, see photo. When I save the file and reopen it is fine and then the new recording goes the same way. Has anyone seen this before?

Hello, Mine is doing this as well on my newly built computer: Auros x570 mini pro wifi and AMD Ryzen 5 with VEGA 11 integrated graphics and 2 x16 ram.

It goes to the horizontal bars and then the spectral display disappears completely. It continues to record, but with no visuals.

I am wondering if it is because I am using the integrated graphics on my CPU (no dedicated graphics card yet). My CPU is only at 25% at the most when it's running, so it isn't over-taxed. If it will fix it, I will invest in a dedicated graphics card, but I don't have the money to do that if it's not what is wrong here. Any thoughts?

Actually, now we think that there's definitely a display bug (possibly more than one), and it's all been logged. If you can't afford a graphics card at present, don't worry - I suspect that this may get resolved in a future release.

Thanks SteveG. Yeah. I downgraded to version 13 and it's working perfectly. I spoke with Adobe and after taking over my screen for a bit they concluded it is a bug in version 14.

It's not landscape - it just hasn't displayed the spectral response fully. Could be any of several reasons for this; Try altering the Hardware Acceleration setting in Preferences>General and see if that makes a difference - that's entirely about graphics display. Also, having the resolution set to very fine for a large file will usually cause it to take a while to resolve itself.

Thank you Steve, but I then got on to Support and they have advised me to return to 13.0.13.  Version 14 was automatically updated in my account TODAY and it was today when this happened.  and I gather from the "Chat" that clearly 14 has created this bug/glitch and returning to 13.0 13 it is working perfectly again, and so am I, having lost a great deal of time on this audio book, but hey. Nowt is perfect. as they say in yorkshire. Many thanks anyway. Your comments are hugely helpful and much appreciated. Mike

14's only just appeared here, and I haven't looked at today's yet to see what happens. It's supposed to update automatically, but sometimes it doesn't like doing that at all.
