Speed Up Waveform Editing Process

I am editing e Learning VOs - one audio file per slide.  I would be most grateful for any suggestions to speed this process along.  I have tried exporting at markers into individual VO files as well as "saving selection as" option.  Both seem to create a longer-than-necessary amount of time.  MANY thanks!

You don't necessarily have to add the Marker Ranges whilst recording. You can go through afterwards and quickly add just single markers at the start of each new slide. Once you added all the markers just add a single extra one at the end. Then in the Markers List you can select all Markers and convert them into Ranges using the Comb icon. Then you can use the Export Selected Marker ranges to Individual Files to split them up into individual .wav files. Then you can use the Batch process to convert them all to .mp3 files.

In fact you could speed up the process even more by saving your Normalization and NR settings as a Favorite. Then you can select that Favorite in the Batch Process and do all the processing and conversion to .mp3 all in one step.

Not quite sure what you are asking here? Could you please explain your workflow in a little more detail. Are you saying that it takes you too long to do or that the resulting files aren't the correct length?

    Mr. Clark,

Thank you for your quick response!  I apologize for not being more clear.  Here is my workflow:  record ALL slides in a single file (averaging 35-55 slides per program).  As I edit that single file, I perform normalization and noise reduction to the ENTIRE file.  Then, I either "export within range markers" (if I have added them while recording) or "save selection as" - saving the audio for that single slide as an individual MP3.  The files themselves contain NO ISSUES...my hope is to speed up the editing/saving process because it certainly seems to me that there is a better/faster (and yes, more profitable) way to accomplish this work.

    Many thanks!
