Static on Playback but not heard while recording with Zoom LiveTrak L-8

For the past couple months, my recordings in audition have had insane static sounds throughout. Sometimes worse than others. The static does not appear as a wave from in the session and is not heard when I monitor through headphones while recording.

I did make sure my sample rates matched up between the mixer (ZOOM LiveTrak L-8) and the settings in audition. I had 41.1kHz for both. 

Any ideas on what this might be or how to fix it?

Alternatively, any way to repair audio that's already been recorded?
