Static sound in playback

Hello, so I run a podcast and for some time, my playback has had this weird static that would come up every so often when I'm speaking into the mic. I can post a link to two samples, one with me speaking into it with the static, and one of room tone at the time I record. When I record no fans are running, except for my fridge, I live in a dorm so there's the occasional noise but not in relation to the static.
