Storing / Saving / Sharing / Organising ... EFFECT PRESETS

Sorry, if this is a new version of an another answered discussion, but if to be honest - i didn't find exact answer to this question in any of discussions here.

WHERE ARE MY AUDITION EFFECT PRESSETS STORED?

I know, all of you are now starting tell me that all effects are stored under /Library/Presets/Adobe/Audition...  Sorry - it is NOT true. They are NOT there.

There is one huge .xml file where all information is stored in absolutelly useless way.

Example 1.

I recorded a voice, more than one voice. And every of them have some slightly different effect needs. And then i make presets for each one (Johns'Voice, Billy'sVoice etc.) My friend or college needs to record Jons voice and needs exactly the same setup for effects ... and i just want to send him a preset. (Ok, i know, this is an utopia, there will never be identical setups in two different studios, but ... this is an example).
? And ?   How to do it? Where is my preset named John'sVoice?

There is just one huge unusable useless .xml file. If i send it to my friend and even worse - if he will copy this new one to existing, it will lose all his presets.

I just want to send ONE PRESET. Just ONE!

Example 2.

I recorded a voice ... I apply preset John'sVoice, but then suddenly i undestand my mistake (it is Billy's Voice what i need) and hit the lovely-sugar-sweety Trash Can Icon right next to SavePreset icon ... because, i just mean to remove effects what i apply. Not to remove my Preset from Library .... Oh yā, i know - that is my mistake. But ... Now my Preset Called John'sVoice is gone! Gone forever!!! There is no Undo, no way back. There is even no backup options. And i can't find this one deleted Preset in my TimeMachine anymore, because there is no presets, stored in Library, in PresetFolders, in Preferences, nowhere...

Just one useless huge .xml file.

I just want to organize my own presets in some kind of way. It can't be done in .xml mess.

Do you agree?

May be i do something wrong ... may be i didn't look where they are, i didn't find. I did search million times.

Questions:
HOW CAN I SHARE EFFECT PRESET?

HOW CAN I ORGANIZE (Put in folders, subfolders) PRESETS?!!! And most important !!! HOW CAN I GET IT BACK, IF I SUDDENLY HIT THIS "HYPNOTIZING" TRASH CAN ICON?

15 easy steps to share your Audition preset:

    1.     Open Audition, create file.

    2.     Open Terminal.

    3.     Write a magic string to show hidden files (because Library is hidden)

    4.     Open Finder and go to ...Library.../bzz.../mzzz.../nobdyknowswhere.../Audition ... (ok - just find it where it is)

    5.     Copy your existing EffectsPreset.xml file to Bak.

    6.     Go back to Audition

    7.     Delete all presets (~35) in list (You can not delete them all, do it step by step)

    8.     Save your new preset.

    9.     Close Audition.

    10.   In Finder (if it still open in the same place where we left it) copy your New EffectsPreset.xml

    11.   Send it to your Friend/College

    12.   Unarchive your old EffectsPreset.xml overwriting the new one.

    13.   Open Terminal

    14.   Write magic string to hide hidden files and folders.

    15.   You're done.

Hooray. It's really easy! And much much more convenient as simply "Go-to-special-folder-where-all-presets-are-saved-and-chose-the-one-you-need". Off course...

And ... you know? Your friend will follow something like the same way to add your preset without losing her owns and to use it just once. Because there is not exactly the way, you can copy your new peset to your existing library

For example - Adobe After Effects uses exactly this one easy way. And there is no mess around. There is no questions. There is allways everything clear and organized. There is one place for all your presets (You can choose by yourself where it will be, btw). There is each preset named as you like. You can move them into folders, organise, rename, do whatever you like and all its is syncronised with AfterEffects console.

    Cool

Unfortunately that's the way Audition works. To do the saving of presets in any other form would be even more of a mess especially if each one were saved as a separate file. There is no reason why you cannot send your Effects Presets .xml file to your friend. If he just renames his .xml file temporarily he can load your presets without losing his own. He just has to rename his back to the original when he wants to revert to his custom settings. I often backup my Audition settings .xml files or even folders by just adding .bak to the file/folder name.
