Suggestion for Audition

When editing multitrack WAV files, could you allow users to customize the display height of each channel? Currently, the height is evenly distributed among all channels, which makes it challenging to observe details, especially when working with a 16-track WAV file. It would be much more convenient if we could adjust the height of any individual channel.

Additionally, it would be great to have this customization feature in the spectral editing window as well, allowing for individual channel height adjustments.

It already does all of that - you should try dragging the top or bottom edge of each track's controls up or down, and see what happens. The spectral editor can also be resized by grabbing the little row of dots in the divider and moving them up or down.

I've put a little red dot to indicate where you drag from.

Perhaps you should work through a few tutorials...

Thank you for your response, but I think there might be a misunderstanding. I’m referring to the ability to adjust the display height of each channel within a single WAV file in the Waveform Editor mode, not in the multitrack view. Currently, when editing a single multichannel WAV file, all channels are displayed with equal height, which makes it difficult to analyze details, especially when working with files that have many channels (e.g., a 16-channel WAV file).

My suggestion is to allow users to independently adjust the display height of each channel within the single-track view, similar to how it can be done in the multitrack editor. Additionally, having this customization option in the spectral editor would be very useful as well.

I hope this clarifies my request.
