Super slow export in Adobe Audition suddenly...

I recently updated to the latest version of Adobe Audition (for mac), and have had all kinds of bizarre problems. It's taking forever to export a 2 second audio clip (with effects rack applied)... and I have 102 files to export today, ugh. Several times, it stalled completely and I had to force quit. Any idea what could be causing this issue? Anyone else experiencing this?

this is a wild bug but im going to suggest something, and if it doesnt work im sorry. it was taking me over 30 minutes to paste a 1 second clip and i just figured it out. there is a window called markers. right click on one in the history and delete all cue markers. it will run at the speed of light i had over like 1000 by accident i wasnt paying attention. runs like silk now, keep mind of your que markers and delete them when your done with that section, or else.

Does it actually crash? If it does, then a look at the crash log file (available via the Help menu) should show up where the holdup is...
