System Crashed after I recorded in Audition 13.0

I recorded into Multitrack and all went well.  As I was working on my project (about 30 minutes after recording), my system crashed and restarted on its on. I'm on a Macbook Pro.  When I reopened the Audition file, my audio was gone, as if it was never recorded at all.  I can't find it in any folder nor on Creative Cloud.

Is there any way I can locate this file?

Thanx,

David O.

The only place your file would - and indeed should - be is in the place where to told Audition to record it to. In Multitrack, Audition records direct to file, so there's nowhere else at all to look, I'm afraid.  The only thing that gets backed up remotely (on the 'cloud' if you've set it to do this) is the session file for the session - no audio.

The other thing Audition does every time it opens (and also if it crashes) is to create a log file. In the case of crashes, it usually indicates what has failed. So if you are at all concerned about this, then there's a way to send the crash reports to Adobe for analysis - look here: Audition crashed - now what?
