The exported mixdown file has a sinusoidal amplitude. How can I fix the problem?

I want to create my podcast. I have created a mixdown and exported it in mp3 format. The exported file has a sinusoidal amplitude which decreases and increases subsequently. I have the same problem when I play the mixdown in Adobe Audition itself. The mixdown consists of around 10 sounds (duration of around 1:20':00"). What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Well I got it. you just need to put your music in the music section. not the host section!

I'm glad you've worked that out, because we were wondering exactly what you were talking about!

I presume that this is the voice-over ducking tool that was giving you difficulty. Certainly if you put the tracks in that the wrong way around, that's pretty much what I'd expect to happen.
