The track panner is not displaying volume lines correctly

Question

Using a mono track, mono clip, 5.1 bus. The puck is not inset into the Center channel. When I keyframe panning, the puck moves accordingly, but the volume lines do not. The lines stay in the center channel. Is this a bug?

It works correctly, as it's intended to, as far as I can tell. In order to show the pan lines, you have to enable them, and with 5.1 they show below the track, not on it. And yes, moving the puck around moves the lines (well it does here, anyway):

Whether everything is functioning correctly is another matter - I haven't checked it all out yet.
