time stretch - matching time

I have a clip that is approximately 1:25 that I wanted to speed up to 1:15:17 in Premier.

But the sound is horrible.

So I unlinked the audio and video in the clip, changed the video time to 1:15:17 in premier, and opened the audio in Audition.

Using the time and pitch / stretch to retime the audio to 1:15:17, but when it goes back to Premier the audio is only 1:15:05 seconds, leaving my audio out of sync with the video...

I've tried using the same percentage for both audio and video with similar results.

I'm guessing this is user error, but I can't see what I'm doing to not get the desired results.

How do I get Audition to give me a specific time length so it will sync with my video??

The first thing to do is change the algorithm to iZotope Radius and have another go. Apart from any other considerations, it's rather better than the Audition algorithm (which is why it's there...)

I am getting the same results as far as timing, using both algorithms... I usually use the iZotope, but figured that would be the first thing someone would say was the problem was that it wasn't using Adobe's....

Well I just wanted to get that out of the way, in case it was relevant!

I have to say that you aren't the only person who's had this problem recently - of things not quite fitting when returned. We have not yet got to the bottom of it, but I do have one question - do you have the time display settings identical on both apps, and what is the snapping set to? This might make a difference.
