I want to be able to save my multi track with any stretched clip changed to Rendered instead of for playback. Is there a way?

Thanks for the replys guys. I did find a fix even though spoke to Adobe customer support and he had no idea about this. Not even the slightest bit of help on their end which is pretty pathetic really but anyways here it is.

Once I was done my mix in the multi-track:

Clip > Stretch > Render all stretched clips

Done!

I made it into a keyboard shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + R to make it easier.

Cheers

If you go to Multitrack Clips in Preferences, there's an option at the bottom to change the default clips stretch mode to 'rendered'. Unfortunately I think that the option you might prefer (real time playback, rendered mix) doesn't actually exist; you have to render them prior to doing the mix-down.

Usually when I say something like this, someone comes along and proves me wrong, but I can't see any obvious alternative, I'm afraid.

What does Freezing a track do to Stretched clips? Does it pre-render the Stretch in the same way that it does with effects?

I think it should, but I must confess that I haven't tried this...
