timeline display can barely see volume line

haven't used audition in a while.  what is up with the yellow volume line?  I am trying to add keyframes and I can barely see the line on the selected clip.

It looks like you may have had this clip selected or highlighted reducing the visibility of the volume line.

If it happens again you could always change the colour of the track you're working on by double clicking the colour strip on the left of the track.

You could also play about with the Waveform Selection colour in Preferences > Appearance.
