Timeline Lag/Freeze

When I start a new audio file, the timeline lags and only goes by about .100 seconds at a time. i've tried updating Audition, updating all my drivers, but nothing works.

Check to see if there's a video driver update - although it has to be said that the one thing that reviewers aren't impressed with on the Envy16 is the graphics performance. That said, it should be able to perform a bit better than that, I would have thought...

i updated my drivers and same result. this computer was double the price of my old HP and i've never had this issue before.
