Last week of December, I was scrambling to get an audio project off to a client using Audition 3.0. This error kept coming up. Out of the blue, and never had it before. Toshiba 665 laptop running Windows 10 (never asked for it. Hate it.) I had to farm the project out, then left for a weeklong holiday. Since I've been back, I've tried 3 times to re-install only to get the same error. I can't seem to find any solution. Does this have anything to do with the Adobe Apps launch in October? Also, is my original CD download obsolete? and is there anywhere to download a version that will work with W10?

    There do seem to be some problems with installing the above downloaded version of AA3 with the very recent Win 10 updates. It is being investigated.

    Thanks for the links, people. I've exhausted all tips. With my aging hardware and aging software, I may just be to the point where I bite the big bullet and upgrade everything. Much appreciated in the end, and you'll all be duly knighted when the aliens come to rearrange things here on planet blue-spot
