Troubling getting my USB Mic to work in adobe audition & premiere

I am having trouble making my microphone to work it's a Neewer Mic (NW-8000-USB), it's for my MacBook Pro. On my MacBook Pro setting preferences it does detect the mic but when opening up adobe softwares, error sample rate messages pop up and takes me to the audio hardware settings. It's showing there that it's not working.
