Question

Trying to record an audio that needs to be about 35 minutes long but the timeline stops short

Hello!

I am new to Adobe Audition and new at home recording. I am trying to record several tracks for an audio recording that needs to last about 35 minutes. I am in Multitrack and the timeline at the top of the DAW simply stops at 10 minutes and 54 seconds. What am I doing wrong? I hope I am explaining this well enough. Is there a time limit or something on recordings? Help???

Linda

There's no practical limit on recording length at all. Just go on recording - the timeline will expand automatically. Failing that, you really haven't explained what's going on at all!

I am so sorry to waste your time. Whatever I was doing, it wasn't working.
But now it seems I am able to loop and record past where I was stuck last
night.

Perhaps 12 hours in the studio pushed my senses too far, and I went right
into stupid. Feeling a bit chagrined.

Sorry again.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
