Unable to view creation date

Hi,
I would like to be able to see the creation date of files i have opened in Audition. But in the menu 'Metadata >  XMP > Basic' the field next to 'Creation Date' doesn't show anything, nor can i find this anywhere else.
(The dates shown in the screendump - 16 March 2023...- are not the creation date, but the moment the file openend in Audition).
Anyone knows how/where to find it?

This has been commented on before, and there appears to be no resolution that I'm aware of. There's a thread about this here but a search around the internet reveals that this is quite a common problem, and not just with audio files. There's probably a good reason for this - the creator tool doesn't show as available either. And that's a bit odd, because I'm sure it used to, certainly back in the days of Cool Edit.

There's a thread about this here but a search around the internet reveals that this is quite a common problem, and not just with audio files. There's probably a good reason for this - the creator tool doesn't show as available either. And that's a bit odd, because I'm sure it used to, certainly back in the days of Cool Edit.
