Update for Audition?

I have the Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Adobe is stating it has an update for Audition. However, it's not where the other apps are, but on the Home section. When I click it it brings me to the Adobe main page. It almost looks like Adobe Audition is now being sold as a separate app. I hope that is not the case.

Thankfully, Adobe Audition still opens for me.

All I have to say is Adobe ought to be tarred and feathered for their COMPLETE abdication of ANY support.  Community forums is NOT support.  Further, to not have any significant updates in more than 10 yrs is absolutely PATHETIC!! I wish I could SPIT on their CEO.  I clicked on the Update link within the app last night and it's just stuck on stupid. Heck I couldn't even look something up on the online manual.

And there have been countless updates over the last 10 years, including a couple of complete rewrites. It sounds as though you haven't updated your Creative Cloud app - if you have one...

Audition has always been treated as something of a "stepchild" in visibility compared to Adobe's other apps. You generally have never been able to find it on the "front" page listing the apps and have always had to go looking for it via a dropdown box somewhere. So, whatever you're seeing, I wouldn't take it as an indication of it's continued inclusion in the Creative Cloud suite.

Actually, the apps revolve around, so you don't always get the same ones on the first page. As for Audition's continued inclusion in CC, you can pretty much take that as read; there is a greater degree of integration between Audition and Premiere than most people realise, and it won't go away any time soon. The round trip performance is improving with every significant release.

And also now with some integration with Adobe's Media Encoder as well.

It showed on the 'apps' tab here. As far as I'm aware, nothing about the software's status has changed. If it doesn't show on the apps section, then one of two things might have occurred; it's either installed already, or you need to update the cloud app itself - this has been known to cause a problem or two of its own!

    Yes there does seem to be an Audition update. When installed it shows v. 2017.0.2 build 10.0.2.27. However that release was several weeks ago in mid January.
