Upgraded to Mac OS High Sierra and Adobe Audition CS6 message is "application install appears to be damaged."

Hello!

I had a frequently used Adobe Audition CS6 installed on old iMac running OS 10.7.

I just bought a new iMac with Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra, and then I installed Adobe Audition CS6 from installation disc with product key. Upon opening the application, I get a message window with, "Your application install appears to be damaged. Please reinstall the application." After reinstalling the application, I get the same message. I ran the available updates from Adobe on the program, and the message still appears each time I open the program.

So, I opened Adobe Audition again and imported an audio file to the editor and started fooling with the file. I played and stopped and deleted and copied and pasted, and all seemed to happen as expected and worked just fine.

Nothing is crashing and all seems to be okay. I always keep back-ups of original files just in case something bad happens or I do some stupid sound editing and have to get back to the original.

Should I just ignore the message upon opening the program?

    It depends on what might not be properly installed on your Mac. It might be a part of Audition that references some other OS files on your system and might not show up as an error until you try to use a particular feature of Audition. So you could ignore the message and run for ages without coming across a fealty operation.
