Urgent problem with Audition

Hello,
we have encountered an urgent problem with Audition and are hoping someone can advise us on a solution. We recently did an update of Adobe Audition CC but now when we import the OMF files Audition it is no longer able to manage them. If we use the non updated version instead we have no problems. The OMF files we use are generated by Protools 11.3.1. We were wondering if anyone else had had this same issue and what is the solution to this.

Thanks for any advice.

Thank you all for the help.
We solved the problem by reinstalling the software and now it works perfectly.

Audition has one of the best OMF import functions around but that is not to say that there are not rogue OMFs that can cause great havoc.
If that particular OMF was able to be opened in a previous version but not in a later version then I would completely uninstall Audition and the install the latest version.  If the OMF still doesn't open then there may well have been a bug introduced.

Either way you should do as Charles advises

Can you post one of the OMF files? You may send a link to audbugs@adobe.com

Well at least this is different!

Which update have you applied, the initial one from a few weeks ago, or the very recent update? There were a number of problems with the first one that have just been fixed...

I would treat it as a crash and follow the instructions given in the FAQ Audition Crashed. Now what? That way the developers will get to see what happened and may be able to diagnose what went wrong.
