Question

Using Adobe Audition cs6 with Voicemeeter and RadioDJ.

Hello,

I got a unique situation. I had trouble with this last week, but solved it with ASIO.

I'm currently testing out my new show and I do need Audition for this. But now, I when I change the Audio Hardware to ASIO, I can hear stuff on RadioDJ but I can't hear myself when I talk. When I change to MME the opposite happens. I've tried WASAPI, but it sounds choppy.

Oh my computer is a Windows 10 laptop.

I also tried to ask help with this on RadioDJ, but they weren't helpful.

Does anybody have any solution to this issue? I would like to hear both RadioDJ and my voice at the same time while I am recording.

What audio interface are you using with your PC? By using ASIO you are implying that you are using an external USB interface of some kind.

Since you are using both Voicemeeter and Radio DJ where exactly does Audition fit into your workflow? I would have thought that the other two programs do all that is needed without Audition.

Hello,

Thanks for your response. No, I am not using an external USB interface. The only way that I can record something from the software RadioDJ (Which is what it is) is through ASIO. I tested it out.

I do have VoiceMeeter plugins from Voicemeeter Banana (Another software) that I can connect to RadioDJ. They're almost like USB, but they are not, they're just plugins.

The reason to use audition, before I actually go live on the air, I want to know if everything works good before my first show. The tape recorder on Voicemeeter will not record anything on RadioDJ, because when I did connect my mic, however, there is no slide (Or I can't remember what's it called on the console), that says RadioDJ.

So now what do I do?

I'm afraid that this is really down to how Voicemeeter and RadioDJ interact and not down to Audition IMHO. So you really need to find out how those two bits of software talk to each other. And, since you are not using a USB audio interface, I am not sure how you can be using an ASIO audio driver. How is your microphone fed into your computer?
