VERY LOW RECORDING AND GETTING NO HELP FROM AS I CALL IN FOR HELP, THEY HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME

WHEN I TRY TO RECORD THE RECORDING COMES OUT REALLY LOW BECAUSE THE METER IS GOING UP IT IS LIKE IT HAS A COMPRESSION ON THE TRACK WHEN THERE ARE NO EFFECTS. THE WORKERS DON'T KNOW THEIR JOB THEY ARE NO HELP AT ALL AND I PAY FOR THEIR HELP BUT DO NOT GET IT

I understand how frustrating this can be. We can certainly try to help here, but we'll need some more information.

 

  1.  What is your operating system and version number of that operating system?
  2. What exact version of Audition are you using?
  3. Are you recording in Wavform or Multitrack mode?
  4. If you're in Multitrack mode, click on the track itself and check the Effects Rack. Is there anything at all happening on the Effects Rack?
  5. Have you used anything from the Essential Sounds panel on the track or recording?
  6. Please go into the Audition Settings/Preferences, go to the Audio Hardware pane, and take a screenshot of it. Please post that screenshot in your reply below.

Please don't SHOUT - it's hard to read.

 

Audition records very faithfully what it is sent from your sound device, so if you have insufficient level coming out of that, that's what Audition will record. Since you have provided no information whatsoever about the equipment you are using, we can't help any further unless you do.
