Can my ancient Tascam US144 be used with the current Audition CC? It is not the MKII. Does anyone on here use a US144 currently?

Don't have one, but I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use it, as there's a 64-bit driver available (2.02) for it which will probably work fine: https://www.tascam.eu/en/downloads/archive/US-144 Don't worry about the fact that it doesn't say W10 - that shouldn't matter.

Anyway, it's not going to cost you anything to find out, so I'd say go for it and report back...

Thanks, SteveG, for the encouragement. Hours of trial and lots of error later, I got the idea to install the US-144 MKII 64-bit driver. I don't know near enough to understand why, but it works like a charm. Much obliged for telling me to overlook the fact that they say it wouldn't work with Windows 10. It does!

The reason that it works is simple; Audition is 64-bit! If you don't have that driver, you're a bit stuffed anyway. So I'd say that it's doing exactly what it's supposed to...
