voice changing with audition?

What steps are involved to change a man's voice to a female's?

Can you do them in audition?

I believe merely changing the pitch or EQ is not enough.

I want to make short videos with female voice over but I prefer to do the voice over myself for more control, and then change it to a female voice. I want the female voice to sound real.
