Volume correction problem driving me insane

Hi. This is the thing. I'm ducking he music manually, bringing down the volume line (yellow line) in the music track, but when I hit save and close the session, the changes don't apply and I'm stuck with the same volume level (see pics). Surely I must have another volume parameter defined somewhere, but don't know where. Thanx.

A couple of things: often when data doesn't save, it's because there isn't a check in "Include markers and other metadata' box when you first did the save. You can check or rectify this by doing a 'save as', which will give you the option:

But yes, there are other alternatives. Well, one anyway - and that's to use the rest of the automation system, which you can get to by twirling down the 'read' button on a track. You can control pretty much anything from there.

As always, thanx for the quick answer.

- "Save As" includes markers and oher metadata, so that's ok

- Twirling the read button. I can see all the options, but all seems ok.

What else can it be? It ignores all the volume changes in the tracks, but not other parameters. I can change other things, such as stretching the clip, and the changes are saved, but not the volume.

Maybe I have something related to the volume automated?
