volumelines in multitrack view gone in 1.5 audition

my volumelines in multitrack view are gone in 1.5 audition.  now i can only change the volume in edit view.  any ideas? 
(the pan lines do still work...)

You mean the volume envelope?

no, the lines you should be able to make appear after clicking with your mouse....there are two kinds, the pan lines (right or left) and the volume lines (louder or softer)

Hmm....maybe I'm still not understanding.  Also, I have Audition 6, so maybe something is different.

 

Are you talking about the volume envelope line in multitrack where you can adjust the volume in multiple places in the wave file on the track?  Or something else?
