VST 3 plugin crashing AA 2017 (but didn't before)

A VST 3 plugin I use for mastering (Izotope Ozone 5) crashes Adobe Audition 2017 (see pic). But when I use the menu for regular VST...it doesn't crash. I need to be able to use the VST 3 one, however, cuz it had mastering presets I saved.

please help

When you say that it didn't crash Audition before was that using the same version of Audition as you are using now or was it with a previous version that it worked OK?
