VST mixdown issue VocalSynth 2 (effects missing)

Love Adobe. Posting here in the hope of some help. The chat agents leave the conversation upon asking this so hopefully someone more techincal can see this. VocalSynth2 VST3 in playback is fine but in the mixdown export the effects are missing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, this is for my best song so it's incredibly irritating. I'm using v23.1, Nectar 3 is on the same rack and has no issue at all. This version of Audition seems to crash often on my PC (but not on laptop).

Don't know why it doen't work (maybe ask iZotope?), but as a workaround, can you bounce your vocals to a new track, and then apply the effect to the bounced track in waveform view?
