Wanting to mix two songs together

I want to mix two songs together, but I'm unsure about how to do things like split parts, changing the key, and changing the tempo without distorting the audio.

The two songs are almost already the exact same tempo, and there's just one chord in the chord progression that needs to be swapped around, so it shouldn't be that bad. Does anyone know a quick set of steps to do this?
