Question

.WAV file is not playing.

I recorded an audio file. I saved it in .wav format. I see the audio file, but when I go to play it back, there is nothing. Also, I tried to take a piece of the audio and copy and paste it into a separate file and when it pastes, there is no visual audio. It just comes up blank, although I see how long the file is, (in time) I do not see the wav file, only in the orginal do I see the audio file. Any suggestions on what happened and how I can fix it?

Quite frankly, none of that makes any sense at all - unless you're doing something fundamentally wrong. What can you tell us about this file? And do other files behave normally?

I agree it doesn't make sense at all. Other wav files play just fine. The top file is the orginal wav file. You can see the length of it. You can also see the wav. The bottom picture is when I tried to copy and paste a segment from the orginal wav and paste that into a new file. You can see the time on that wav, however, nothing pastes. Weird.
