wav metadata entry- beginner question

I am the rawest of rookies.

How do I add metadata to .wav files? The entry field in grayed out.

Can metadata be entered to wav files in a batch process?

Depends upon what exactly you want to add - some fields you deliberately cannnot change. No, you can't batch process metadata, as such.
