Waveform signal sounds different than multitrack

Question

I applied chorus/flanger swirl pool to the waveform version of a signal and when I switch back to multitrack it sound dry. The same effect doesn't sound the same in multitrack as it does in waveform. How do I get them to sound the same?

Waveform view is "destructive" editing in that it makes a permanent change to a file which you then have to SAVE manually. (I suggest you use "Save As" so you keep your original file in case you want to go back and change it.)

Anyway, my suspicion is that you applied the effect in Waveform but didn't Save/Save As it.
