Question

When i make a vocal recording, after i edit it, it moves from the spot i recorded, to the very begining of the beat. What am I not doing?

When I'm finished with a vocal recording, and editing it, when I go back to the multitrack, the recording has moved from the position I recorded, to the very beginning of the beat. What am I not doing?? HELP

    Multitrack view.

    If you edit (as in 'remove') in waveform view part of a file that you are using in multitrack view, then it is inevitable that nothing will be in the same place as it was - well certainly not on from the point you cut, anyway. Waveform view is destructive, Multitrack isn't.

    What exactly are you doing?

    I did try asking a couple of months ago but still haven't had enough information to be able to help the OP much at the moment sadly.

    We will need to know a bit more about how you are recording the audio and where you are editing after recording. Is this in the Waveform or Multitrack view? How are you 'editing' the vocal?
