Whole session deleted after power outage

Help!

Last night, we had a power outage (my computer was open). I had been working on a multitrack session in Audition (with Auto Save on every ten minutes and saving manually regularly). When I opened the session this morning, it was wiped clean. In the backup files folder I see my session but it's 100% empty. It goes from Sept 2nd at noon to this morning Sept 3rd. I know I saved my session in the afternoon.  Many times. And before stepping away from the computer. 

Anyone experienced this? Any clue as to how, if possible, I can find my session?
